‘Something is really wrong’: Jonathan Duniam reacts to stark warning about net zero

Shadow Environment Minister Jonathan Duniam says a report calling for a national electricity market reform proves something is “really wrong” with the left’s green energy agenda.

The report by the Grattan Institute warns the federal government’s push for net zero is ‘ad hoc’ and ‘uncoordinated.’

“When the left are rounding on themselves, and starting to sound the alarm bells you know something is really wrong,” Mr Duniam said.

“It is rather becoming embarrassing – but the problem is it is such a serious issue.

“We’ve been belling the cat on this for a long, long time, and common sense dictates that you have to bring on, and maintain reliable, cheap, base load energy.”
