Norwegian vessel owner Solstad Offshore has won a new contract for one of its anchor handling tug supply vessels (AHTS).

The 2007-built anchor handler Normand Turquesa was awarded a new four-year deal by Brazilian state-owned oil and gas major Petrobras.

According to a statement by the Norwegian firm, the contract is subject to board approval and is set to begin in February 2026.

To bypass the time until the start of the new deal, the vessel was awarded a nine-month extension on its current contract. The vessel will now be fully committed until February 2030.
