Dutch offshore support vessel player Glomar has revealed a multi-year vessel framework contract with Dutch-German transmission system operator TenneT.

The deal covers the provision of fully equipped emergency response and rescue vessels (ERRVs) and safety standby vessels (SSVs) in the German sector of the North Sea.

“This collaboration marks a pivotal step in enhancing safety and operational efficiency in maritime operations, particularly concerning the connection of offshore wind farms to the onshore power grid,” Glomar said.

The Den Helder-headquartered owner and operator noted that the contract had already started, with the vessels operating in alignment with TenneT’s project timelines.
